  12.   Convert projects from Visual Basic 4.0 to 3.0
  13.  
  14. LONG DESCRIPTION
  15.   This program will convert your Visual Basic 4.0 projects
  16.   and files into a format that VB 3.0 can understand. This
  17.   lets you NOT take advantage of some VB 4.0 "features".
  18.  
  19.   The program does its best to convert forms and code, but
  20.   there will remain a few areas which need to be cleaned up.
  21.   You can easily find these areas by loading and compiling
  22.   the project. Any custom controls or properties that did
  23.   not convert will be noted in the form's .log file, and
  24.   any code that did not convert will be made obvious to you.

  26.   There is a listing of VB 4.0 constants in the VB4CONST.BAS
  27.   module. It is recommended that you add this file to your
  28.   project instead of renaming any constants used. You may
  29.   someday port your application back to VB 4.0 or higher.

  31. REQUIREMENTS
  32.   This program requires Microsoft Visual Basic 4.0.

  34. INSTALLATION
  35.   In File Manager/Explorer
  36.   1. Run the SETUP.EXE file. The program creates a program
  37.      directory and icon. No system files are modified.
  38.  
  39. UN-INSTALLATION
  40.   In File Manager/Explorer
  41.   1. Delete all of the files listed in the PACKING.LST file.
  42.  
  43. REGISTRATION
  44.   This program is being distributed as shareware. Please
  45.   read the REGISTER.TXT file for benefits of registering.
